My Name is Sonia, and my State Farm Agency is in Black Diamond, WA just outside of Maple Valley. My mother migrated to the United States from El Salvador to provide a better future for her 5 children. Coming from a Hispanic country, my mother did not speak English and had nobody who could educate her on how to protect what was important to her. From a young age, I stepped in and helped my mom figure out how things work in the U.S. and gained a lot of experience navigating processes and being self-reliant. As I grew older, I realized that I could be a huge asset to my community and advise them on how to protect what they spend their lives working hard for.

I got an opportunity to start putting my skills to practice when I joined the Ross Olive State Farm Agency as a team member. Ross is a great mentor and helped me learn the insurance business with a focus on great work ethic and customer service.

It was a dream come true when I got the opportunity to start my own State Farm agency in December 2021. My background and experience prepared me to take this next step and become a strong resource for my community and help them build and protect their assets and future.

I am very passionate about life insurance, and my aim is to educate every single one of my customers about protecting their most important asset – themselves! This is so that their family is taken care of and can continue living their current lifestyle if the income providers were to suddenly pass away.

My Spanish speaking bilingual team is excited to help you and your family with life insurance, homeowner’s insurance, motorcycle insurance, auto insurance.
